Sligh Executive Desk With Black Faux Leather Top

Solid wood (and heavy!) executive desk was made by the Sligh Furniture company in Holland, Michigan. Sligh Furniture began operation in 1880. This desk likely dates from the 1960’s or 1970’s. It was recently given to Scouts of Darien by a donor who mentioned that the desk came with the house they purchased in the early 1980s. It has nine drawers with brass pulls and a black faux leather top, The reverse side of the desk features built in shelving. It is in very good condition and measures 54″w x 30″d x 31″h. The photo of the faux leather top shows light reflection; the actual surface is in very good condition.
