Types of wood/ countries of origin are noted on the reverse as shown in these images. Albert Routhier from Turners Falls, MA is the artist. Process is noted on the attached paper on the reverse side of the item.
Minor scratches on piece. Avoid exposure to humidity, or piece may de-laminate.
16” high x 18” width x 1/2” depth of piece.

This is an incredibly precise and detailed piece of decorative marquetry by artist Albert (A. J.) Routhier (1935-2006) a native to Turners Falls, Massachusetts.
Routhier painstakingly executed his work by using exotic wood veneers inset together in a way to create his landscapes. He used the natural wood variations and sourced a variety of tree species to create his images. His woods were not dyed. His work represents the 100% natural feel and coloration of the woods he chose.
