Collectibles Auction House has stepped up to support the Captain and this campaign by offering you this unique special Jeep with a story and a history in the making. We understand this is not a run of the mill auto auction, but a living breathing vehicle being driven as you are bidding.
Collectibles Auction House and the Captain have agreed to charge a 20% buyers premium on top of the base sale price of the vehicle. We will not deliver a broken down nonfunctional Jeep, we will provide a piece of history that has proved itself-tough and reliable.
Little Glory completed her 4500 miles touring in Utah promoting the Great American Road Trip in 2022. She is now on a mission for history and in support of our military veterans and first responders.
As a Marine Corps veteran, and retired FBI agent, Captain Montefusco has been volunteering all his time, funding, and attention toward organizing this road trip to honor our veterans and first responders. To honor our American history, respect for our nation and our flag, to inspire young people to serve honorably in our military, police, and fire, to remember those who were lost on 9/11, to raise awareness for post 9/11 illness, and to support our military veterans and first responders’ Gold Star families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
The Captain’s ultimate goal is to voluntarily raise funds while making this drive for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org). The foundation pays the mortgages off for the families of military and first responders who die in the line of duty. T2T.org is also providing mortgage free homes for our catastrophically wounded veterans. To date, T2T.org has paid the mortgages for 480 homes, please visit the website site at https://t2t.org/ that 95% of every dollar goes to the program to pay these mortgages.

This Jeep, Little Glory is not only a vintage vehicle from the Korean War, but it is making history by following history. Little Glory is retracing the route of the first transcontinental drive across the USA which took place on the same dates in 1903, 120 years ago! Yes, Colonel Horatio Nelson Jackson was the first person to complete this drive between the same dates May 23, to July 26, in 1903. Col. Jackson completed this same drive with his 2 cyl. 18 hp, Winton Automobile.
Now you can follow online, come out and meet the Captain as he crosses our great nation honoring all our veterans, supporting our first responders, and by helping the Captain complete this drive for a great charitable organization.
The Captain has been voluntarily self-funding this drive “to let us do good” since May of 2022, which included building this historic Jeep. It is now time for the main event . You now have a chance to be a part of this great adventure by helping the Captain accomplish this mission, while we all help the Tunnel to Towers Foundation continue their support for our heroes.
The Captain has started a Gofundme page, and an online store at https://www.gartforvets.org/about-this-site/ , to help offset some of the costs of making this drive. No monetary sponsors have signed on to sponsor this drive. It has now become necessary to make Little Glory, the Jeep part of this same effort to offset the costs of making this drive. The goal has been set to raise $28,000 between the online store, gofundme, and the sale of this Jeep at auction.
Let it be known that every dollar over the $28,000.00 raised between all these platforms, the store, gofundme, and the sale of this jeep will be 100% donated to the Tunnel to towers foundation.
The more we raise to make this drive, the more we will be able to donate to T2T.org on behalf of Gartforvets.
**Remember you are bidding on a running driving machine making a transcontinental drive as we speak, and as others bid along the way. When she arrives in New York City, it is estimated that she will have just 5,000 driving miles on her, and 5,000 towed miles on her since she was towed all over Utah promoting the drive during 2022.
**We guarantee a running fully functional Willys Jeep with no major repairs needed or we will make them, or you can refuse the bid. You are invited to come out to see the Jeep, and meet the Captain as they cross the USA or by following our updates here, on Youtube, Facebook, and the Gartforvets website.
If you want a historic Willys Jeep this Jeep is for you, start bidding, please. If there is no more room in your garage for Little Glory, please consider donating to help us make this drive. Help us: https://www.gartforvets.org/ If you would like to donate to the Tunnel to Towers on behalf of our campaign, we can’t thank you enough.
