Opportunity House, Inc., founded ...view morein 1980 by a group of parents for the purpose of developing a lifelong home for their autistic children who, at the time were adolescents and young adults. The intent was to develop a well-thought out, carefully planned, and stable environment for their children. Ten years later, Opportunity House, Inc. grew to three homes serving 17 adult residents. In 1993 and in 2002 Opportunity House, Inc. added two vocational /employment program sites which provide our residents support with a variety of work related activities along with paid jobs for many.

Opportunity House, Inc. is designed to provide Residential and Day Service Programs for adults within the autism spectrum. The goal of Opportunity House, Inc. is to provide an appropriate level of support and care socially, emotionally, physically and medically to address the changing needs of each resident.
