Item Description

Gorgeous Vintage Bisque Porcelain Sculpture of a Deer (Doe) caring for her Fawn.
Sculpted by artist Gerhard Bochmann for AK Kaiser.
This piece is sculpted in lovely detail as shown in the photos. Especially note the detail to their heads and bodies, natural poses and over all detail.
Bachmann was born in Dresden in 1925, and was famous for his figurine work not only for Kaiser, but also with Meissen and Goeble. He worked with Kaiser in the 1950s.
Sculpture measures 5.75" high, by 7.5" across.
Product ID #427 is moulded into the piece, visible on the bottom.
Signed by the artist on the base; G. Bachmann
MINT condition, no chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
It even has the gold sticker on the bottom: Gold Crown E & R
The piece is clearly marked in blue AK Kaiser in blue, with the crown insignia. Additionally marked in Gray; Made in West Germany.
This will be lovingly packed, with all the voids filled, for safe transit.
