Very Rare Antique Norwegian Desk (Matching Chair Sold Separately.) Circa 1880 -1920

The original desk surface may have been stained. The light color and carved rosemaling design on the desk matches the chair both were dated by owner in the 1880's. The simple floral folk carvings have become popular in recent years and are in keeping with the style of the times.........Norwegian furniture at the turn of the century was very much about keeping things simple, and functional. Their urniture both in the 1800's and today, was also always built to last!
