Mounted on a veneered base. English movement with heavy 1/4" plates, chimes on 1/4 hour -either Westminster or Cambridge tune. There are 8 tuned bells and heavy wire gong. Face is brass with silver chattering and black numerals. NOTE: Above description from client supplied appraisal notes and may or may not be accurate.
