Unique Antique Window Marked U.S Post Office - Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. - ~ VERY COOL ~

This window is very cool. The plate which states Corbin Cabinet Lock Co. New Britian Ct . was started in 1862 and is no longer in business in New Britain. I don't know if the cabinet or just the plate was made by this company. the box numbers in the glass boxes appear old. The metal plate in the center window moves up to close the center box and there is a mail slot in the center. See pictures for the configuration of the back. Whatever this is or was would be very cool built into a wall in your home. it measures 46 x 12 x 47.
