Item Description

Wonderful and vivid Modernist work by a listed artist. Signed on upper right. Framed size 39.5" x 47".

About SUZANNE ROGER (Paris, 1898-1986). She belonged to the Kahnweiler’s group of artist in the twenties of last century. She was the only artist-woman in the gallery. She was a young and cultivated painter; she studied in the Lycée Racine and later in the Académie Ranson. Was married to the painter and sculptor André Beaudin.
