A hand knotted, 100% wool area rug. The rug has a central medallion in shades of cream and gold on a black field. The center is bordered in red, with a foliate design in shades of cream and gold. The corner brackets repeat the central medallion colors and are followed by a checked guard boarder. The rug is finished with white cotton warp fringe.
The original purchase price for this rug was $2,300.
