THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE 1966 STEINWAY & SONS MODEL 45 UPRIGHT PIANO . . . Thank You for stopping by our auction . . . . . . . SERIAL NUMBER INDICATES IT WAS MADE IN 1966 . . . . .serial number is 397344 with 45 stamped right above that. . . W1907 (is stamped in two locations). . . 25D X 46H X 58-1/2W . . . . .this Steinway piano is part of an estate auction we are doing in Westport,CT . .this piano was owned by Harold Micklin . . .if you google him you will see he was a famous musician that worked with Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Ella Fitzgerald and many others . . . . . this family is related to Harold Micklin . . . we have other items from the Harold Micklin estate . . . . . . (that auction will be posted in the next week or so) . . . . . we are listing the piano separately . . . . . .from the small amount of research I have done . . .Steinway Model 45's of this vintage (1966). . . sell in the $13,000 to $16,000 range . . . . . .this one seems to be in great condition . . .I tested every key . . . . ALL sound nice bright, strong and loud. . . . . . . .this piece was ALWAYS stored in the "living area" of the house. . . . .never in a garage, basement or attic. . . CURRENTLY it is on the first floor of the house . .NO STAIRS . . .it can roll right out into the driveway . . .
