Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Made of silk, cotton with silk silver and gold wrapped thread. Depicting an American bald eagle with arrows and olive branches, four US flags, an American shield and a scroll with E Pluribus Unum inset into a black and gilt verre eglomise mat. Made and sold by the George Washington Company in Yokohama, Japan. Good condition with some age related wear, but nicely maintained and preserved behind glass.
