Dakota’s dramatic sweep of European white oak pales in modern shades of grey, setting an organic, elegantly understated tone for the dining room. Soft curves sanded smooth follow the tree’s profile, exposing natural wood tones. Subtle grey tones are achieved by a “fuming” technique that reacts with the wood’s natural tannins to alter the color without stain. Complementing the top’s organic nature, the base features two built- up legs at each end, separated by an open channel of interest.
