One of reprodations of "The four views of Naples" made by the Belgian engraver Antoine Alexandre Joseph Cardon (1739 - 1822) , taken from paintings by Gabriele Ricciarelli. In the series of views the protagonist is Naples represented not in a single drawing but according to multiple points of view and perspectives. Also evident is the role and importance assumed by the Riviera di Chiaia, which represents the new luxury residential district of the city. The tables are all dedicated to important foreign personalities, including diplomats and travelers who very often make up the clients and buyers of the city's representations by painters, designers or engravers.
The print is framed in a handsome gilded frame. See the photos for details and measurements.
