Classic Norman Rockwell Like Painting On Board - Signed Nanny 1978 - Amazingly Good Painter

Whomever "Nanny" was in the mid-70's, she had it going on in terms of capturing the iconic country scenes that one otherwise attributes to Norman Rockwell, Grandma Moses or similar New England artists of the 19th century. Highly detailed, great depth of colors & perspectives. Neighbor's farms in the distance, details in the landscape, the freshly frozen stream w/skaters, horse & sleigh cutting across the snow, sledding, the old homestead with covered front porch. So much going on at the same time, great folk-art style and attractive framing compliments the colors well.

Measures 32" wide by 26" high in frame, nicely set just a very attractive painting. We wish we could learn more about Nanny, was that simply a shielded surname, or was that her real name? Certainly worth further research. Easily displayed with pride in many settings, ready to hang.
