Artist - Marked # 100/850, signed by Paul Landry. Titled- " Morning Walk".
The lovely frame is 25 3/4" wide x 21" tall. The actual art visible is 17 5/8" x 12 3/4".
There are some sticker residuals on the lower center glass- they can be wet and washed off.
Stepping out from their secure riverbank, these brave little ducks all in a row follow a confident leader into a sunlit morning. They waddle toward the village, past gardens protected by walls of honey-colored stone and then pass by rose-trellised cottage entrances. Then, perhaps, they may "duck" back down to the riverbank and swim beneath the bridges, to remain under the shade of a willow, with its protective boughs dipping into the stream. A delight to both the eye and the heart, a Landry painting is an invitation to the peace and beauty of nostalgic memories. Known for the lush gardens he lovingly portrays, Paul’s fascination with florals began as a child. Although he was primarily assigned to work in his father’s vegetable garden, he admired what his mother could do in her flower beds. His signature scenes of beauty and nostalgia give a much needed sense of serenity to our busy lives. The work of Paul Landry can brighten a room by its presence alone.
