Antique Tudor-Duplex Solid Wood Convertible Console/Dining Table On Casters

This table is an original Tudor-Duplex. A real unique table for its time, that was produced in the early 1900's. It has a mechanism underneath that allows the side leaves to slide under the center piece converting the table into a dining room table that would seat eight comfortably. Their tag line was "the table that opens like a drawer". It offers a hidden lined divided drawer for silverware and stands on two turned trestle bases with carved feet and a scrolling stretcher. Beautiful inlaid design on top. It is marked to the drawer interior.

Condition: The leaves need to be adjusted, some light wear to the wood conducive with age, otherwise; table is sturdy and in pretty good condition.
