Aubert & Klaftenberger was founded as a watchmaker in 1835 by two watch retailers, CJ Klaftenberger of London and DF Aubertof Geneva. The firm was favored by both Queen Victoria and Prince Albert as the supplier of watches to be presented as gifts. Aubert & Klaftenberger received a Royal Warrant in 1859.
