Antique French Green Onyx Mantle Clock Marque Deposse 232433 Roses Floral Face

Antique mantle clock - marked ‘M Marque Deposse’ on movement along with a serial number: 234 33. I am not sure of the actual maker. It is made of green onyx with brass or bronze. The face/dial is porcelain with a rose/floral decoration covered by a bevelled piece of glass. It would have originally had a large spelter figure on the top, but unfortunately it is missing.
It does not come with a pendulum or key. I did try getting it to work with my spare key and pendulum, but it appears to be over wound.
It is being sold in the ‘found condition’ for restoration or parts. It would be good as a pedestal for a spelter figure in the non-working condition.

Notes: Some repaired areas, a piece chipped off and missing on top and back, some oxidation on feet, one foot has a crack, glass and face are good, some spots of paint on front that need careful removal, some wear on edges and corners.

Consistent with age and use.
