2004 SUBARU FORESTER X 2.5 - Runs & Drives Great - All Dealer Serviced - GREAT CAR !

Thank You for viewing our latest offering . . . . some of you may have noticed we have never offered a Subaru for sale . . . . there’s a very simple reason for that . . . .Subaru owners love their cars so much that very VERY rarely (we have found) are they ever for sale . . . Subarus have almost a cult like following . . . they are very well made . . . .super reliable . . . economical to own and maintain. . . .GREAT on gas. . . they are virtually indestructible vehicles . . . .this is a 2004 Subaru Forester X 2.5 . .its has 161k miles . . . this one has AWD (all wheel drive) . . . .OVERALL A GREAT CAR ! . . . the only reason this one is being sold is the former owner is moving into Manhattan and is no longer in need of a car . . .this car runs and drives great . . I mean GREAT GREAT ! ! ! . . .AND its always been dealer serviced . . .AND its had all of the major items either repaired or replaced . . .also it has a PERFECT CARFAX REPORT . . . NO accidents NO flood NO salvage. . .has clean / clear Connecticut title & Bill of Sale . . .


* muffler / exhaust replaced at 139k
* fuel pump & filter replaced at 138k
* all four tires replaced / balanced at 134k
* cylinder head gasket was done at 130k
* timing belt & water pump done at 130k
* intake manifold gasket replaced at 130k
* bushings / stabilizer bars replaced at 124k
* sway bars & brakes replaces at 124k
* starter motor & alternator replaced at 113k

ALL THE OIL CHANGES WERE DONE ON TIME AND WAS DONE AT SUBARU DEALER OR ASE AUTHORIZED REPAIR FACILITY . . . .overall I would call it METICULOUSLY MAINTAINED. . . .

it goes on and on . . . .I think you get the idea. . .pretty much ALL the items that fail or need to be replaced on a Subaru HAVE BEEN DONE ALREADY . . . in my estimation you will not need to do anything to the car for a long . . . time . . . . the car currently has 161,000 which is 9.470 miles per year . . . . . . actually its BELOW AVERAGE miles for a 2004 . . . .161k is not even broken in for a Subaru . . . . I have seen Subarus on the road with 250K . . . 350K and even a few over 400K . . . THEY JUST LAST FOREVER . . .

currently this Subaru needs nothing done to it . . .there are a few minor things I need to point out . . .none of which are serious . . . .1) you can see the rust over the driver side rear wheel arch this is a common rust point on these cars (there is also a little bit on the other side) . . . BUT the underside is not rusted, if you are concerned about cosmetic appearance you can buy those adhesive fender flares for $25 or $30 . . . . .to hide the small rust area on fender lip . . . .the underside looks like a normal 2004 Subaru should. . .2) the the driver seat has a small piece of tape on the left-hand side bolster . . . and 3) there is a minor exhaust leak in the back (im sure nothing serious) . . . 4) the hood does not always latch . . . .again . . .very minor . . overall I would say the car is definitely an above average condition . . .there’s no dents just some minor dings and scratches it’s riding on a matched set of Solar brand tires (made by Sumitomo) which have probably 50% to 60% life left . . . .

clearly this car was always garaged . . did you notice the headlights are not faded ?. .cars that were stored outside have the faded and yellowed headlights . .ours are nice and clear. . . also the dark lower dark gray body panels are nice and dark. . .not dried out and faded . . .also the engine compartment is nice and tidy . . this is definitely a good car . . . overall the interior looks fine . . . just a few minor stains here and there (didnt try to clean) . . .this model has the retractable cargo cover in the back THESE ARE ALWAYS MISSING OR BROKEN . . .this one works fine it has an AM/FM CD (factory) . . . it’s AWD (all wheel drive) . . . . I dont see a record of it but the shocks / struts MUST have been replaced (they are just too quiet) . . . . .the suspension makes no noise when you go over bumps

keep in mind this is not a new car, other than the rust over the wheel arches there is nothing bad . . its a used car you will find minor dents, dents, scrapes, flaws, scratches, rust, leaks, chips & touch up paint here and there there as well as other flaws & imperfections LIKE YOU WOULD FIND ON ANY USED CAR . . . I did however note I didn't see ANY leaks or drops on my garage floor. . . . . . overall this Subaru Forester is in very presentable condition . . .
