up for auction today is this beautiful 1995 VOLVO 850 Turbo Sedan . . .with 117K ORIGINAL MILES (these cars are made to go 350k miles) the condition is very good and appears to have always been garaged, undercarriage is very clean, if you go online and read the reviews of these cars they were always very highly rated, plenty of power (that turbo kicks right in, very fast and sporty) drives very smooth, the motor and transmission both function as they should . . .if you look at the photo of the dash NO warning or check engine lights, you can see it runs at proper temperature (the service engine light comes on once in a while) . . . . . . .PLEASE NOTE - THE TIMING BELT WAS DONE AT 110k MILES ( according to a label under the hood - which is the interval Volvo suggests it should be changed)

overall its a GREAT car . . . it’s features a 2.5 liter inline 5 cylinder turbo charged engine - automatic transmission - leather interior - power / heated / memory seats - power windows - power locks - power brakes - power steering - power sunroof - power mirrors - cruise control - drivers airbag - adjustable transmission and suspension - trunk mounted spoiler - AM/FM/Cassette - Volvo factory ski rack (in trunk at the moment) - the list goes on and on, it has two original keys (both key fobs work) tires are great . . . .all power and luxury options seem to work fine, parts are plentiful (online / eBay) and relatively inexpensive . . .ANY tech / mechanic can work on this car (even DIY) its not all computers like todays cars, this car was purchased at Volvo of Westport and lived in Westport its whole life. . . the original owner was born in 1949 making him 70 years old . . . we have the original Connecticut title from 1995. if you look at the photo of the title you will see it was bought 5/20/1995, driven only 4,876 miles per year . . . .mileage is 117k VERY LOW MILES FOR A VOLVO ! - and you cannot get a better color combination of black with dark grey leather interior . . . the original sticker price in 1995 was $31,045($51,766 in 2019 dollars) please look at the last photo in the gallery (50+ photos) . .the trunk lock does not always open but is easily accessed from the flip down back seat (see photo) . . . it even has a new looking Volvo battery . . . .glove box is full of books and manuals.
