Item Description

Four 1871 The Patent Star newspapers. These are some of the most interesting papers we have ever come across!!! As the title says- it has 8 full size pages ( oddly not cut in the traditional way - you have to unfold it in order to view a double sized 4-page spread on each side). So, the single page is 20" tall x 13 1/2" wide. When unfolded the full paper becomes 40" tall x 27" wide. They are full of detailed etching illustrations that show the new inventions/ machinery/ furniture/ household gadgets/ etc. that have recently applied for patents. I show many of them in my photos.
All are in FAIR to GOOD, age-consistent condition. All have been stored over the years folded so they have creases. There are minor tears and one burn hole.

NO EXCEPTIONS. ITEMS NOT PICKED UP DURING ALLOTTED PICK UP HOURS WILL BE CONSIDERED FORFEITED WITHOUT REFUNDS. IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE THE PICK UP TIMES, SEND A FAMILY MEMBER or FRIEND WITH YOUR INVOICE.

PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES FOR PICK-UP:
- Every buyer MUST wear a mask and bring their own pen for Invoice signature purposes.
-Please ONLY 1 Buyer at the Pick-Up door at a time.
- If there is a buyer ahead of you, or Auction Staff members near you, please keep at least 6 feet in-between each other in accordance with the recommended social distancing guidelines.
- All of our personnel will be wearing the appropriate protection gear at the time of pickup.

• Winning Bidders must bring help if required for carrying large/ heavy items & please bring your proper packaging materials (boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, furniture blankets, etc) if needed for pickup.
• Packing, Moving & Transporting of your items will NOT BE PROVIDED upon pickup.
