Five full page illustration pages some of the titles are: Venise; Naples; and Itineraire de Paris a Jerusalem; This book is written in French. It does have some condition issues. A previous owner had wrapped it tightly in plastic wrap (the plastic has some breaks along the spine area). They used scotch tape to adhere it so there is tape residue in some areas. The front cover looks to be brown and the rear cover is maroon. The inside end papers have lots of brown spots (as shown in photos). The pages with writing on them have much less spots and are actually very easily read. There is nice gold gilt writing on the spine and gold designs on the two covers. The outer edges of all of the book's pages are also tinted gold. The title page is loose. The tissue papers that are opposite each illustration have tissue loss. Too much of an old book - history - 1838 to let this one just disappear. It warrants to live on in a good home that appreciates it.
