While I haven't picked up yet. I would respectfully suggest that you try to correct one recurring issue, which is the condition of items. Some information is better than none. For example, this dresser, obviously not an antique and from IKEA has zero description of the condition. Even just saying that it is in working order. Took a flyer, didn't spend a lot so it will be fine. But, for example, Modern Day Bids ALWAYS lists condition and portrays it through text and photos. Plainly, it makes you much more comfortable bidding and feels like a higher end experience. With this site, I've had a few disappointments, never with Modern Day Bids as I know what I am getting. Listing accuracy should be Zero. It was deceptive at best. I do not know who was responsible for the description of this rug. Misleading is an understatement. I did check the photos very carefully. There was dark blue yarn instead of black added to the fringe on the short ends of the rug which was not noted nor was it possible to discern from the photo. There was additional damage to the fringe clearly not caused by "wear" as stated in the description. In fact, there was fresh damage and bits of fringe rolled up in the rug. This was clearly pet damage, not normal wear. None of this was in the photos or description. I assume any rug purchased at auction needs to be cleaned and it did say it could use a cleaning. A fresh pet stain is something altogether. Disgusting.

It was represented as 'vintage' and when the mgr delivered it because it wasn't at the pickup location, she said it was 'very old' when i questioned her. There was a small gold sticker that i found on the rim that said 'Made in China'. I contacted her and she picked it up and i hope that i get a full refund. How will that be handled?

i never heard back from anyone, did not get the email that i won high bid until the day of pickup which was too late to pick up. absolutely no response from auction seller. i was charged for the painting but got NOTHING. I was robbed. i tried to contact the auctioneer multiple multiple times, email, text, phone calls ---no response. can you help me reach them or get a refund . it was over $300.
