Bidders had to walk down a long, steep snow covered driveway, park on an extremely narrow road, and stand outside in freezing temperatures until someone appeared to get us our items. We weren't even allowed to wait in garage to get out of the cold and the wind. I will never buy from these people again. On top of that, the woman was very rude.

This was part of a massive estate sale and pick up was easy and well coordinated. Live the lamp!
Easy to work with professional and helpful
A pleasure to be a repeat customer and highly recommend to all 😃⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️very pleased every time with this great seller !!
One item was listed as a jewelry box and it was a tissue holder instead. The pics also we not clear that it was a tissue box.
Great service. Very polite, respectful, and organized at pickup. Overall wonderful experience.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️awesome!!
I've been happily using Auction Ninja for approximately 7 years. First snow storm of season and i asked sellers a couple of hours prior to Auction once the storm was firm if alternate pickup options available. Received response day after Auction close that none were available. Been in this situation 4 times prior in these last 4 years and other auctioneers promptly responded with options, responses prior to auction, or refunds. Highly disappointed with this auction experience. Could not pickup items and forfeited.

Zero stars. Beyond rude, terrible customer service, called me "A CHILD".
I've never felt inclined to leave a poor review but after this managers alarming behavior I figure customers should know what they'll be dealing with.
I drove 47 minutes during rush hour traffic in an extreme rain storm to pickup my items totaling ~$83. I've been a long time customer of CHES and have ALWAYS picked up my items over the years.
I was set to arrive a few mins before the 6p auction end but after getting stuck at the traffic light (right next to their parking lot) I arrived in their lot at 6:01 and to their door at 6:02. Erich spoke to me over the ring doorbell and said they had already left because "they assumed I wasn't coming" and was "already on the highway" so he couldn't come back tonight and that I would have to come back tomorrow. The highway is an 8 minute drive (minimum) from there so he clearly left before the auction end time.
I texted him today and kindly asked if he could please ship my small items instead. I wouldn't have asked this if the items were large and difficult to be shipped/ needed extreme care but it was simply costume jewelry that would fit in a small bag/box.
He immediately became defensive, then started berating me saying I "decided it was the opportunity to give him a hard time" and that "when someone gives you a gift, take it" and that "no good deed goes unpunished".
Not sure if he was taking out his pent up issues on me and adding subtext behind my messages but he clearly felt attacked and rather than acting like someone representing a business and seeing my messages for what they actually were rather than attacks, he stooped to name calling and told me I was "A CHILD" then proceeded to delete that message to try and save some ounce of decency, which was already long gone by this point, on his end.
He told me it didn't matter where HE was because I was still 2 minutes late yesterday and to forget about picking up my items now and would notify the office that my items have been forfeited and that I should've called if I was going to be 2 minutes late!
Most decent people would understand with the rain/ flooding/ rush hour traffic that customers may be showing up a couple minutes late or to call a long time customer to verify that they're coming if they don't want to wait until auction close rather than just assuming. Even if I had shown up at 6p or 2 minutes prior to that, he still wouldn't have been there!
Unfortunately I don't think I'll continue to support the CHES auction house if this is the standard at which they conduct business. I've had better customer service from disgruntled airline employees dealing with flight cancellations which is truly saying something 😂
