Welcome to our 64th New England Auction of Curated Antiques and Collectibles of Interesting and Unusual Items that we curate prior to listing. We don't believe in wasting your time with long boring auctions filled with useless items that you can find at any thrift store or yard sale. If you want higher quality items, this is the auction! Our opening bids are higher because are items are worth at a minimum, the opening bid. We usually price our opening bids at 10 to 20% of the found comparable item values. What this means is that if the item is valued at $100 to $200 and it is good condition, the opening bid will be either $10 or $20. Items below that value usually open between $2.00 and $5.00. Our items will include Stamps, Militaria, Autographs, Art, Porcelain, Jewelry, Coins, and YES!!! BOOKS!!!! We search New England for the best, easy to ship and affordable items that we list in our auctions. Our consignors and the items we find as well are estimated based on our market experience with antiques and collectibles and our extensive database of sold items. Our price estimates are usually lower than similar items found in antique stores or online shops. We usually start all high priced items at 15% to 25% of the estimated value, so do your homework when bidding on these items! Items that start at the minimum of $2.00 to $5.00 usually have a fair market value of $25 to $50 or more. Overstock inventory that has seen more than one auction is reduced in starting price to the base of $5.00, no matter what its fair market value may be. We list items right up to about 2 hours BEFORE the beginning of the CLOSE of the auction! Remember too, that the bids are on about 3 minute cycles and Once the item starts, we can't stop it!!! All international and USA shipments are by USPS and are shipped only to the registered address with the account at Auction Ninja. No exceptions for shipment other than to the address on the account. We also combine shipping to save you money. Our additional charge to cover materials and labor are listed per item. We use the highest charge first, then each additional item adds $1.00 to $2.00 depending upon the internal packaging requirements to keep all items safe in shipping. Items over $100 are charged insurance that will be billed to your shipping charge, no exceptions! We charge a 20% buyer's premium, and we carry items that reflect a higher value than that which is normally seen on Auction Ninja, consequently those items are usually open at 15-25% of their estimated value. If you wait to the last seconds, you might not be able to bid! Auction Ninja does send out bid alerts but they are not reliable. Our auctions are designed to be short and quick. We value your time and ours. We spend most of our time curating the items and selecting the better items for auction, rather than just listing anything in the house. We are generally a ship only service but if you live near us, contact us for a potential pickup point and time for pickup. Text messaging is best. DO NOT CALL and try to leave a Voice Mail. Our mailbox is usually filled with spam callers so we don't empty it as frequently as we should, it just fills up again within about an hour. Pickups are by appointment only and contact Richard Gabriel VIA TEXT to plan a pickup of item or items. Again, DO NOT call and try to leave a message.
