Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain krater shaped pot. The pot’s body sits on top of an ornate circular base. This piece is highlighted by its incredibly detailed handles. The sea foam color of the pot is the backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif and gold detailing. Depicting powerful iconography on each side, this vase shows a volcanic eruption, executed in shades of red, yellow, and purple. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain. The pot measures 23 inches in height and has never been used.
