Grape Handle Portrait Vase

Up for auction is a beautiful porcelain vase. The vase’s body sits on top of a flared stem, and square base. The piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed grape handles. The blue color of the vase is soft and accents the gold throughout, creating a light backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. It depicts classical Rococo scenes, showing two different sensual portraits, executed in shades of orange, green, and red. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain. The vase has never been used and measures 27 inches in height.
