Gold Hand Painted Porcelain Krater Pot

Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain krater shaped pot. The pot’s body sits on top of an ornate circular base. This piece is highlighted by its incredibly detailed handles. The white color of the pot is the backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif and gold detailing. Depicting classic Rococo scenes on each side, this vase shows two courtships set within period society, executed in shades of red, yellow, and purple. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain. The pot measures 18 inches high by 12 inches wide and has never been used.
