French Empire Style Chandelier

This chandelier's luxurious presence exemplifies the empire style. It features crystal prisms that hang from the body dish, bobeches, and column. It also incorporates crystal chains, pendalogues, and a bottom ball. Each of the brass arms features intricate designs and candle lights that sit on top of brass bobeche's.

From 1804–15, Napoléon I reigned as the emperor of France, bringing the country into a new era of wealth after the fall of the monarchy and the tumultuous years of the French Revolution. This stylistic era came to be known as French Empire.
