Exceptional Covered Porcelain Cherub Jar

Up for auction is an exceptional porcelain jar. The jar’s body sits on top of four spiral legs. This piece is highlighted by the incredibly detailed porcelain cherubs on its body and lid. The teal color of the jar is striking and sophisticated, creating a vivid backdrop for the piece’s hand painted motif. Depicting a classical Rococo scene, this vase shows a couple in nature, executed in shades of blue, green, and red. It’s completely painted by hand and composed of porcelain. The jar has never been used and measures 20 inches in height.
