When I arrived at the wrong location, the auctioneer helped me find the correct spot and even came down to meet me at the entrance of the building. That is going the extra mile!
I coordinated with the sellers to have the item shipped to me, which cost around 40 dollars. The auction was at the end of the month, and by the time they sent me the shipping invoice etc it was August. I told them I had just moved to a new place and that my address would show up as X but I would like it shipped to Y. They reply by saying they'd sent it out a few days prior and that it would arrive on such and such day.
The package never shows up. I reach out, and they tell me that they are only able to send it to the address on file and had told me such in their email (they didn't). And since the new owners of the house haven't moved in yet, it's obvious that no one currently lives there, so both me and my roommates have had several packages stolen off our porch. This was apparently one of them.
So I spent 80 dollars on the item and another 40 to get it shipped, and they sent it to an address I'd explicitly told them I no longer live at. If they couldn't send it to my new address, all they had to do was tell me "sorry, we can only send it to the address you have on file" and I would have changed it.
Super disappointed and this was an extremely frustrating experience all around. I won't be buying from them again
Really disappointed
I spent a good amount of money on this auction. Certificate of authenticity and original purchase receipts were part of the written and photographed description. I tried the professional way to go about this to remedy the situstion that now I will contact my credit card for remediation. So sad.
What helpful and charming people! It's so rare to come across folks who actually ENJOY their jobs! Before I knew it, Steve had brought some of my items up from the basement and into the driveway. That was considerate and courteous. I would be happy to purchase from this company again.
