Q&A With Maggie

AN: How would you describe your taste / style?

MC: I would consider my style to be eclectic, yet clean and simple. I want my clients to feel cozy and comfortable in their space. I love mixing vintage (from all eras) and contemporary pieces together to create an interesting, curated look.

AN: What got you interested in secondhand, vintage and antique items?

MC: My grandmother always had the most interesting antique furniture and decor. She had a shadow box coffee table with antique purses on display. I remember her telling me where she found each one. I learned to appreciate old things from a very early age.

AN: What’s your absolute favorite item ever purchased through an estate sale or online auction?

MC: I’m a huge lamp girl! The bigger the better! I’ve found the most fabulous lamps at estate sales. A large green one is sitting in my entryway, and another favorite is in my girls’ room. Lamps are usually the first thing I look for. I love replacing the shade to give them an updated look.
