I love secondhand shopping because it's good for the environment and is a great way to find unique items. Furthermore, I've gotten so many items from my mom's closet since before I was born. She started me on my journey with secondhand and vintage shopping. 

What are the items you always find yourself bidding on or looking for when shopping secondhand?

Vintage leather goods and jewelry. 

Any tips or advice for online auction or estate sale newbies?

1. Prioritize quality over quantity. Carefully examine the item's pictures and invest in pieces that will stand the test of time.

2. Shop out-of-season items to find better deals.

3. Check your favorite websites regularly as new items are added frequently.
