Tuxedo Park Junk shop understands that junk isn't really junk with plenty of treasures waiting to be discovered and given new homes.
Tuxedo Park Junk Shop opened just outside of the Gothic gates of historic Tuxedo Park New York, on New Year's Eve of 2019. Proprietor Patrick Bradbury, a former public relations executive from Manhattan who consulted for clients like Warby Parker and Andy Spade, assembled a mix of art, antiquities, furniture, and objects inspired by the grand estates inside the gates of Tuxedo Park and the families who built them.
"I envisioned a turn-of-the-century junk shop filled with items collected on Grand Tours of Europe by the founding families of Tuxedo Park.", notes Patrick Bradbury. "And what they might have cast away or perhaps consigned during the great depression. I love the idea of a junk shop. It is expected to be a mix of items that have nothing to do with one another."
