Jake was wonderful as well as his staff assisting in the pick up process. I'm so happy with my purchases and can't wait for another auction from them.

The washstand and pitcher and bowl set. It was my only 'win' or ... depends on how you look at it; right now, I'm looking at it as a 'loss'. The listing entry read in 'Very Good" condition along with the measurements "26 x 27" and highest point 38", bowl sits at 31 " height." The photos showed worm holes in the wood, not an issue, some splits on the top board as well as the 'spokes' for the bottom not reaching the back legs. It did not show the dry rot on the back of the legs or the fact that two of the legs had become quite twisted and deformed. No side views were taken to show the front facia with the front legs separating from the side pieces. The plate fell off that covers the wooden ties in the center when the gentleman helped me carry the items out of the house. I did get some help which was gracious of the gentleman assisting with the Estate Sale because I had questions about the large crack in the pitcher. The best item out of the three was the bowl where only the gold rim line was faded in back. The peculiar thing was, when the gentleman showed me the listing, on his phone it stated there was a cracked pitcher. I double checked my listing and "cracked pitcher" was not mentioned (I saved a screenshot in case someone would like to look at it. So, my grand purchase is 'worthless' in its condition. For this, I do not appreciate being misled. If a company is reputable, the listing would have been much more honest verses deceitful. Not having dealt with this company before, I had no reason to question their reputation.

Hello Carolyn - rnrnWhilst we believe the item was accurately represented, the offer still stands to fully refund your purchase if you are unhappy. In the future, please ask for more photos or for more information, especially on pieces that are 100+ years old. On a desktop, the flaws you mentioned are clearly pictured. We always do our best to point out every flaw in an item, and take pride in both our reputation and product. In no way was there any attempt at deceit.rnrnThank you, rnrnBerkshire Legacy

Excellent auction experience with Berkshire Legacy. I have been participating in their auctions on several platforms for many years and the experience is always pleasant. They take great photos, provide accurate measurements, and are very flexible when it comes to pick-up and shipping. I very highly recommend them to both bidders and sellers. They truly are one of the best auction and estate companies in the Berkshires.

I have not received this item. I've sent multiple inquiries and called.

**UPDATE** BUYER DID NOT WANT TO PAY FOR THE COST OF SHIPPING AFTER WINNING THE ITEM AT AUCTION. HER PAINTING WAS $48 AND SHIPPING WAS $84 DUE TO THE SIZE AND DISTANCE THAT IT MUST TRAVEL. AS A RESULT, SHE HAS LEFT A NEGATIVE REVIEW BECAUSE SHE DID NOT WANT TO PICK-UP OR PAY FOR THE SHIPMENT OF HER ITEM AND WE DID REFUND. SELLER BEWARE - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH NICOLE OUELLETTE-SMITH. ADDITIONALLY, SHE COST OUR LOCAL PRIVATELY OWNED SHIPPING PARTNER, UPS, 2 HOURS OF TIME, LABOR, AND MATERIAL. rnrnrnORIGINAL RESPONSE: Hello Nicole - Your item was received by UPS on August 26th. As per our terms of shipping, you are responsible for coordinating with the shipper and arranging payment for delivery once UPS is in possession of the item. We have notified you several times on and off Auction Ninja of this duty. Please contact the UPS store, which has your item, for further updates. The contact info for the store was emailed to you, posted on the auction, and sent via text message upon auction completion. Thank you, Jake
