Item Description

This is a very unusual item and definitely ONE-OF-A KIND!! This book contains handwritten "Record of Marriages by Henry A "Squire" Crego a Justice of the Peace in Newberry / Volinia Michigan. Crego's handwritten Records start on August 29, 1869 and end on September 17, 1910. There are 161 RECORDS in this book with names and dates. Henry sometimes used his wives, PHEBE and MARY and witnesses to the Marriages he would perform. According to death records from the internet, Henry Crego was married to both, Mary and Phebe at the same time! My research will be included with the book. A RARE FIND for any genealogist!!

The book is in fair to good condition; NO major rips or tears; one small page tear; pages and binding is loose.
