Item Description

Superb tribal very expressive african mask from the Fang, Gabon region. This type of mask was used for entertainment on festive occasions. Hand carved from a single piece of wood, with shell, metal, and beads. Largest dimension: 12”. Mask shows some old cracks and minor losses due to age and use overall good antique condition.
