Has been in the Fitzsimmons family since 1950's . Bought at Wally Findlay NYC gallery.
Have paper work from the gallery

Achilles-Emile Othon Friesz 1879-1949 French Artist of the Fauvist Movement. Studied with Matisse, Marquette and Rouault! On view the museum of fine arts San Francisco's museum of modern art. Legion of Honour award.
