-Reverse: A playful panda graces the reverse side of the 1989 silver panda and is laying on its back while dangling a bamboo shoot. The background design resembles a grid, with small squares connecting to each other. The coin's purity, weight, and legal tender value of 10 yuan are all represented underneath the relaxed panda bear.
