Seller set me up with a shipping company that wanted to charge me over $100 to ship two Barbie's and a Barbie motorcycle. I called the owner and she agreed to ship the items to me instead. They were delivered in a completely destroyed box that was open. Two items were damaged. There were like ten packing peanuts in the box and one piece of packing paper. Total disaster. The item and shipping cost me $100 and now I'm trying to file a claim with UPS, which I have never had to do in my life because the item was so poorly packed. I paid for the shipping label and told her I'd Venmo her for the cost of any shipping supplies needed. She obviously didn't care. I should have just accepted the lost of the items first. I'm a reseller so not only did I lost the cost of the items but any potential profit I'd have made. Completely and totally a waste of time and money.

As I texted this customer immediately, he has been fully refunded. My shipper quoted him $67, which was apparently unacceptable. I agreed to bring it to ups for him, and he agreed. He then texted me to pack it and bring it to UPS, and sent me a QR code for UPS to scan to generate a label. Although I told him I was uncomfortable with that, he insisted that this item wasn't of concern and if anything happened, it would be covered by insurance. It was put in a heavy-duty box with some wrapping. It was for 2 vinyl Barbie dolls and a plastic motorcycle toy. Of course, it was sealed, or why would UPS accept it? This became time-consuming: picking it up from the shipper, finding a proper box, boxing it, and bringing it to UPS. I did it to keep him satisfied despite his insulting texts to my shipper and me. He was spoken to with respect from start to finish, and there was no need to behave in this manner for $25. We wish him luck with his reselling.
