1940 Motorcycle Repair Manual Q A Questions And Answers By Uncle Frank Harley HD

Here is the 1940 edition of this sought after early mechanical manual for motorcycle enthusiasts. It contains 176 numbered pages chock full of diagrams and step by step instructions on how to repair and maintain Indian and Harley Davidson motorcycles. I also have a 1937 listed, so please check my other items.

It measures 7-1/2 inches tall and is 5-1/4 inches wide. It is in surprisingly good condition - signs of use and wear, but considering these were often used while working on motorcycles, they are often beaten up and full of greasy fingerprints, the creases and worn corners and edges are minor. The original owner did write in PENCIL inside in two places, the first page where it provides space for the owner's name and contact information, and in the back on page 174 where it provides space for notes, entitle "Memorandum," the owner wrote in that he changed put the original 3/8 oil pump for a 5/16 one.
