Here is an original copy of "An address upon the character and example of President Lincoln" a seminar delivered on July 6, 1865 by Professor Thomas Chase of Haverford College, at the Pottstown Pennsylvania Presbyterian Church. It measures 8 inches tall and is 5-1/8 inches wide. It has 35 numbered pages plus 3 blank at back. The front and back covers (if there was one) are missing. All pages are present. It is bound left with stitching. There is some foxing. Thomas Chase became President of Haverford College in 1875. The seminar discusses the life of Abraham Lincoln and his character, the civil war in general, and certain specific battles fought during the civil war.
