Although the seller is very clear about handling charges, the shipping for such a small item cost almost 2x what I paid for it. Mea Culpa. I will be more careful in future. Shipper did not err, just very pricy shipping/handling costs. Item is lovely.

This auction pick up was well organized, plenty of staff to direct you, very pleasant people. The only less than optimal comment I have is that I had reached out via email 2 days prior to ask about the pick up environment. The piece I purchased was rather big and heavy. I never got a response so I assumed it was as described for all the other items, outside on loading level. Past moving experiences had me prepared for some heavy lifting anyway. I was driving over an hour to pick up, sent the ETA text 30 mins prior as requested and 10 minutes before arrival received a call, which I missed, and then a text asking if I was prepared (man power, etc) to remove the item from the 2nd floor. The item as mentioned was massive for the space it had to moved through a tight doorway, hallway, narrow turning stair, etc. all of which I had asked about in the email and would have brought an additional hand for if I knew. So long story short, the communication could use some sprucing up. All in all it was a good experience and I would purchase from them again.
