Estate Inventory Services (βEISβ) makes reasonable efforts to accurately identify and describe each lot. However, descriptions are based on our observations and opinions and are not intended to serve as comprehensive condition reports.
While we may note visible damage, repairs, restoration, wear, or other condition issues, the absence of such information does not mean an item is free from defects or in perfect condition. Most items offered through our auctions are antique, vintage, previously owned, or used and should be expected to show normal signs of age and use.
All measurements and weights are approximate. Age, origin, maker, materials, condition, authenticity, functionality, and other identifying information are provided to the best of our knowledge but are not guaranteed unless specifically stated otherwise.
EIS reserves the right to correct listing errors or omissions when discovered.
By bidding, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the photographs and description and agree to purchase the item AS-IS, WHERE-IS, with no warranties or guarantees, express or implied.

The scheduled auction pickup date and time are firm. THERE ARE NO ALTERNATIVE PICKUP DATES OR TIMES.

IN-HOUSE SHIPPING PARAMETERS
EIS can generally provide in-house shipping when an item:
Does not exceed 18" x 18" x 20"
Does not exceed 20 pounds
Is not fragile
Can reasonably and safely be packed and shipped using standard parcel shipping
EIS reserves the right to determine whether an item is appropriate for in-house shipping. An item may be referred to a third-party shipper even when it falls within the size and weight limits if EIS determines that the item is fragile, unusually shaped, difficult to pack, valuable, or otherwise requires specialized handling.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping, handling, packaging, carrier, and insurance costs.
A $10 minimum handling fee applies to in-house shipments. Additional packaging costs may apply depending upon the size, quantity, and packing requirements of the order.
SHIPPING QUOTES
EIS is unable to provide advance shipping quotes or estimates for either in-house shipping or third-party shipping.
Final in-house shipping charges will be calculated when the order is packed and processed and will appear on the buyer's shipping invoice.
Please take potential shipping costs into consideration before bidding.
THIRD-PARTY SHIPPING
Items that:
Exceed 18" x 18" x 20"
Weigh more than 20 pounds
Are fragile
Are oversized or unusually shaped
Require specialized packing or handling
will be referred to a third-party shipping provider.
EIS will coordinate getting the purchased items to or releasing the items to the designated third-party shipper.
The third-party shipping company will contact the buyer directly regarding shipping arrangements, charges, and payment.
EIS does not determine the third-party shipper's rates and cannot provide or guarantee a shipping quote or estimate on their behalf.
The buyer is responsible for all packing, shipping, insurance, handling, and other charges imposed by the third-party shipping provider.
Third-party shipping companies are independent businesses and are not employees or agents of EIS. To the fullest extent permitted by law, EIS is not responsible for a third-party shipper's pricing, packing methods, processing time, delivery schedule, delays, loss, or damage after the property has been released to the third-party shipper.
SHIPPING TIMEFRAME
In-house shipping generally begins approximately one week after the auction closes. This is an estimated processing timeframe and is not a guaranteed shipping or delivery date.
Multiple lots may be combined for shipment when EIS determines that doing so is practical and safe.
If you prefer to arrange your own third-party shipper, you must coordinate those arrangements with EIS in advance so the shipper can collect the items during an approved timeframe.
